‘ Do not feel lonely, the entire Universe is inside of you ‘ ( Rumi )
John is a licensed psychotherapist providing support and counselling for both individuals and couples. He has a Psychotherapy practice in Sydney and also together with his partner has built a retreat centre in Kangaroo Valley, NSW ( Arawaka...A Place of Sacred Nourishment ). This retreat centre allows for deeper healing and immersion for individuals and couples as they explore the deeper meaning and essence of who they are choosing to become. Using nature as an instrument of profound healing we can potentiate and mature when soul and our wild nature guide’s us. It is in the presence of a past, present and emerging rainforest setting at Arawaka that a template for a more mature, fulfilling and purposeful life can lead to inner healing and a better world
John works with INDIVIDUALS to explore those parts of selves that behaviourally get in the way from living a more authentic and meaningful life. These old patterns are formed in the developmental years of growth and often reflect our experience of Family of Origin. Letting go of these patterns often associated with a residue of trauma, allows for more healthy resourcing and self discovery. John is particularly interested in the body’s ability to self heal... psychologically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually
Couples Counselling
Many COUPLES seek Couples Counselling only when their relationship is either in crisis or stagnation. We now know, however through discoveries in neuroscience and interpersonal attachment that Couples can acquire and learn skills that can strengthen their relationship. Whether you are in a new relationship, an old and successful relationship, or a troubled relationship, couples counselling can enhance the quality of your life/lives
